December 14th: An Afternoon of Joy
On a crisp December afternoon, something magical happened in our community space. Santa arrived early at The Arbour—elf in tow—ready to celebrate with our residents in a way that felt intimate, warm, and utterly special.
We partnered with Toncini Modern Italian Catering because we believe our residents deserve nothing less than the best. Andrew and his team didn’t just deliver food; they created an experience. The spread was a feast for the senses, with artfully arranged appetizers, perfectly paired wines, and craft beers that spoke to the Okanagan’s finest offerings.
Twenty-five residents (and a few cherished four-legged friends) gathered not just for photos with Santa but for something deeper: connection. In a world that moves too quickly, we created an afternoon where neighbors became friends, where laughter filled our shared spaces, and where the spirit of community truly came alive.
The joy on faces, both human and canine, as they posed with Santa wasn’t just about capturing a holiday moment. It was about belonging. It was about knowing that where you live actually cares about making your life richer, fuller, and more connected.
December 24th: Because the Magic Shouldn’t Stop

On Christmas Eve, Santa made a return visit to The Arbour. This time, it was quieter and more personal. Each resident received a thoughtfully chosen gift, a small gesture that said, “We see you. We value you. You matter here.”
